NIKOLA

I build the whole thing, then I do the hard part too

Twenty-six of my projects started as an empty directory — theme, templates, database, the lot. The ERP syncs, configurators and subscription migrations happened inside sites I had already built. Nikola Dikić, remote worldwide. Sixteen years, and the sites are mostly still running.

Something wrong? Start here

Most people arrive knowing what is broken rather than what it is called. Find the sentence closest to yours.

None of these? The three routes below cover everything else, or just describe it in your own words.

Three ways in

All three reach me directly. There is no account manager and no discovery process to sit through.

8HOUR TRIAGE

Fix my site urgently

Renewals failing, stock wrong, checkout down, a migration half-finished by someone else. Give me the site and the symptom and I will look before we talk money. Triaged the same day, within eight hours — European, US, Canadian and Australian hours, weekends included.

What I take on

Six kinds of work. Five I have been doing for years; the last is newer and I say so.

Subscriptions and recurring billing

Renewals, dunning, plan changes, failed payment recovery, and moving live subscribers off whatever system they are on now without a single billing interruption.

Done it: seven projects, three of them migrations with no interrupted payments

Integration and sync

Getting a WooCommerce store to agree with the system that actually runs the business. Two-way order, stock, customer and price sync against an ERP, or against whatever third-party API you are stuck with.

Done it: nine years of NetSuite and Macolla sync at Arkansas Lighting

Migrations that keep billing running

Moving subscribers, memberships, wallets and payment tokens off a legacy system without dropping a renewal. Data mapped and old corruption repaired before anything is cut over, with a rollback that has been tested rather than assumed.

Done it: thousands of live subscribers moved at ProgressiveChristianity, no interrupted payments

Speed and search

Core Web Vitals, slow queries, bloated plugin stacks, caching that was never configured. Plus the technical SEO underneath it: crawlable structure, structured data, redirects that survive a rebuild, and analytics that measure something real.

Done it: code tuned for millions of visits at Foreign Policy without raising server load

LMS, membership and credentialing

Course delivery, gated content, assessments, credit and wallet systems, and certificates that carry professional weight rather than decoration.

Done it: six projects, including HIPAA-constrained credentialing at The ObG Project

Being readable to AI

Increasingly your buyer asks an assistant before they visit your site. That means server-rendered HTML rather than a JavaScript shell, clean schema.org markup, canonical answers to the questions people actually ask, and where it fits, an MCP endpoint an agent can query directly.

Newer work. I am building it on my own site first and will show you what it does before you pay for it

Selected work

Written around what was at stake rather than what was built, because integration work is invisible when it goes well.

Nine years of two-way sync between a storefront and two ERPs

Product catalogue, orders and customers synchronised in both directions against NetSuite and Macolla, with a WebGL lampshade configurator sitting on top of the same product data. I built it from scratch, led the team, and handled the ERP vendors and third-party contractors directly.

Millions of records and thousands of live subscribers, moved without interrupting payments

A multisite rebuild where billing could not pause. I mapped the data and repaired corruption in the old database before touching anything, then moved subscribers off a legacy subscription system onto WooCommerce Subscriptions while renewals kept running.

A credentialing system doctors use to renew their specialisation

Medical professionals buy credits into a wallet, complete assessments, and the system issues the PDF they submit for renewal. Built on WordPress multisite with SCORM compatibility and HIPAA constraints shaping how data was stored and moved.
